Gallions Primary School is a vibrant, happy and successful school serving a richly diverse community in the heart of East London. We are part of the New Vision Trust and work closely with our joint Academy schools to strive for the best for all our pupils. Over the past 2 years we have introduced Opal Play and have recently been awarded the gold standard for play.

We are looking for outstanding adults who can:

  • lead play at lunchtime - following Opal guidelines and training
  • Supervise children in the dining hall, playground and classrooms
  • Assist children with table manners, playground games and social skills
  • Organise games and play opportunities
  • Deal with behaviour issues in accordance with the school’s behaviour policy
  • Deal with minor accidents
  • Help children resolve disputes.

Previous experience of working with primary age children would be an advantage but is not essential.
