About the Role
Keir Hardie Primary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate experienced and qualified Family Support Worker to join our team.
The successful candidate will support the development of families’ capacity, resilience, and independence — helping parents to build strong, positive relationships and access the right support at the right time. You will provide direct support to families through outreach, home visits, and group work within the ethos and vision of Keir Hardie Primary School and the wider Children’s Centre framework. You will need to be very flexible, have an enthusiastic approach and be able to work collaboratively and sensitively across our neighbourhood. You will be professional at all times, with a particular awareness of confidentiality.
Good communication skills, excellent recordkeeping and teamwork are essential.
This position will be based at Keir Hardie Children’s Centre. Keir Hardie Children’s Centre works in collaboration with Edith Kerrison Nursery School and Children’s Centre as part of the Canning Town and Custom House Neighbourhood.
