Assistant Headteacher and Senior SENDCo

Brampton Primary School (BPS), proudly rated Outstanding by Ofsted, is seeking an exceptional Assistant Headteacher and Senior SENDCo to join our team from September 2026. The Headteacher and Governing Board are seeking to appoint a highly skilled professional who is dedicated to preparing children for the future. The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCo)
• Proven leadership of SEND at whole-school level, including strategic oversight and staff development
• Significant experience working within a primary Resource Provision, particularly with pupils with PMLD and complex needs
• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice, with experience of managing EHCPs, multi-agency working and ensuring high-quality inclusive provision
