The school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual who will be able to further develop the Curriculum Team. We would welcome a team player who is keen to work collaboratively and contribute to a strong ethos of sharing good practice, resources and ideas both within the team and across the whole school. The Humanities Curriculum Area includes 5 subjects, all of which have improved since 2012. Geography results in the school have increased from 25% [2012] to 80.0% A*-C [2017]. The successful applicant will be committed to raising student’s achievement as a member of the Humanities curriculum team and will play a role in the development of the new GCSE curriculum and in continuing to further raise teaching standards and exam results.  The successful candidate would also be expected to share a passion for fieldwork and be able to expand the scope of the Curriculum Team’s fieldwork programme.
