Newham Partnership Working
Employee Relations Advisor (Schools HR & Payroll)
(Temporary, 3 months)
£32,954 to £35,639
NPW is a mutual organisation formed and owned by Newham schools and working in partnership with the London Borough of Newham and other education providers. NPW is undergoing an exciting period of transformation to ensure we continue to both provide and commission outstanding services for schools.
NPW currently supports over 90 schools, within both Newham and its surrounding boroughs, with a comprehensive range of high quality services. Our support removes external range of pressures that our school leaders face, allowing them to focus on their core purpose - education.
We are currently seeking an Employee Relations Advisor on a temporary basis to support the Senior HR Staff in advising school Leaders, on casework; develop and review HR policies; liaise with the trade unions and support the work of the service. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has a good knowledge of Schools HR and the successful applicant will have knowledge of how current legislation relating to schools impacts on employment practice. You should also have day-to-day experience of HR issues. This post is a good opportunity to develop knowledge and skills as part of a great team.
Applications for the post is by official application form only, no CVs please.
