We are seeking to appoint two experienced Cover Supervisors who have the confidence to lead a classroom, covering all subject areas across the curriculum.  In order to be successful in this role you will be highly motivated, able to manage class behaviour and have the ability to direct learning in the classroom.

As the successful candidate, you will: 

• Have a minimum of one year’s experience working in a classroom environment
• Ideally have Level 3 T.A. qualification, or be willing to work towards this
• Have good communication skills
• Be able to deploy behaviour management
• Be interested in your own professional development
• Show commitment to the school and contribute to all aspects of school life

Portway is a large, inclusive school for children aged 3 to 11.  Our school is part of the Leading Learning Trust.  We have just under 600 pupils on roll, which includes part-time nursery pupils.
